What is your role as a life coach?
I am here to guide and support you on your journey to improve your life. I accompany you to find answers, identify priorities and come up with a plan to achieve your goals. While our work may focus primarily on your professional life, I believe in looking at a situation holistically, and helping your craft and implement a plan that integrates easily with all aspects of your life, and incorporates aspects like balances, wellness, mindfulness and self-care.
What do you specialize in as a coach?
I leverage my background as a communications professional, senior manager, and coach to work with 1) communications and creative professionals, 2) people managers and organizational leaders, and 3) professionals facing or wanting to make a transition.
I don’t quite fit into your specializations and just want to work on things in general. Can I still work with you?
Absolutely! My coaching practice is client-centered: whatever your goals are, my goal is to help you clarify, articulate and execute that vision.
What does a coaching session look like?
A typical Coaching Session lasts one hour and we can meet in person, by video or on the phone. On-Demand Sessions are 30 minutes long.
What should I expect during a session?
The session is about you. My role is to ask thoughtful questions and listen. I will assign homework that relates to our discussion and requires you to act on our conversation.
Do you offer packages or discounts?
I aim to offer clients flexibility and coaching on their terms so do not require clients to lock into a certain number of sessions through packages. You’re able to start and stop when you’re ready. On-Demand subscribers receive a discount on additional coaching sessions as part of their subscription.
My employer might be willing to pay for coaching. What is available?
The Career Development Package is ideal for employers who would like to invest in their employees to identify specific goals or soft-skills to develop with a coach. Managers can also get involved in the process to identify priorities and opportunities for growth.
I’d like to pursue coaching but I don’t have a lot of money. What would you recommend?
The On-Demand Subscription works well for someone who’d like to test drive or partner with a coach without feeling obliged to pay for regular 1-hour sessions. Subscribers enjoy a monthly 30-minute session, with a discount on additional sessions, as well as a customized newsletter. I also offer an application-based pro bono coaching program for up to 3 clients each quarter.
I don’t feel like I need full-blown coaching or regular sessions. I would like to have an occasional accountability partner or sounding board though. What’s available?
The On-Demand Subscription works well for individuals who want to work with a coach on their terms. Whether it’s for a sanity check, working on a specific challenge, or troubleshooting, you can schedule a monthly 30-minute check-in and enjoy other benefits with your subscription.
Do you have any certifications?
I do not. I intentionally chose not to pursue a coaching certification because I did not want to lock myself, or my clients, into a specific coaching model or framework. I do, however, have over 20 years of experience with leadership, management, and coaching and regularly engage in professional development as a coach and organizational leader.
